![]() ![]() Installing Waterfox on Linux via Flatpak (Recommended).AppImage packages are portable packages and they only require clicking on it to just run, but can be also extracted. That packages should work on almost all distros following with CentOS 7. There are also AppImage packages without KDE integration patches and with LTO+PGO: ![]() Instructions how to install these packages are on: Waterfox Current has been compiled with LTO+PGO on all distros except openSUSE and Fedora.īoth packages has also langpacks as subpackages => waterfox-current-i18n-langcode and waterfox-classic-i18n-langcode. For better KDE integration I recommend installing also plasma-browser-integration package together with extension =>. However these packages doesn't depend on KDE libs, so can be even used on other DE and that special features wouldn't work without kwaterfoxhelper package installed, but that should be installed automatically for KDE on all distros except Debian and Ubuntu, but for these 2 distros there are also packages waterfox-classic/current-kde, which installs all things needed for proper KDE integration. KPE means KDE Plasma Edition, so packages contains integration patches for KDE Plasma made by openSUSE and little fixed for Waterfox by me. Packages are called waterfox-classic-kpe and waterfox-current-kpe. Welcome! If anyone wouldn't know yet, newest versions of Waterfox Classic and Current are available on unofficial repository for Arch Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, openSUSE, Fedora and CentOS.
